Keeping Families Connected...

Not long ago I was blessed with the opportunity to take portraits for a fantastic family who's father/husband was deployed.  His wife works for Best Buy and was set up with all the technology she needed to keep her family connected during this difficult time.  Best Buy has made a short film featuring this family and it is a great film.  The technology they used can be used not only for military families but also all families who need help staying connected.  The numbers of people who are working far from home is increasing due to the current economic conditions and the need to take work where you can find it.  There are also others who's jobs have always kept them on the move regardless of the economy.  Not forgetting those who move for love and still want to keep in touch with their family and friends "back home".

They did use a couple of my photographs in the video and I think that is kind of neat too.  Mostly I love how people come together to help each other when there is a need.  You may also note that on the end credit screen there is the logo for oplove.  That is the organization through which I met this family and I think it is pretty awesome.

Here is the video!
