The kid with the messy face...
I haven't posted anything on here that has been taken with my new camera.
My Hubby loves me very much and gave me the $ to upgrade. This thing can take pictures in the darkest situations and still give me useable images. I just have to share.
In regard to the picture I am sharing...you know the woman you walk past with a whole gaggle of kids with her who is clearly oblivious to how messy and unkept they appear. Um, that is probably me. I am trying to pay better attention but if you saw what I see all day your brain would start to tune it out too.

That is cookie or something and if you look even closer it is on his nose too.
For those of you who are into photography - that picture was taken at ISO 2000 in a fairly dimly lit room! I LOVE this thing!
Since my preference is natural or ambiant light this is the perfect gift. It turns out often that when I go on location to someone's home, they think they have great light but they don't really. Since cameras see differently than out eyes it is hard to judge unless you are already really into that sort of thing. Also, I have sessions that don't always take place at the most photogenic times of day so up to now I have been going on location with the intention of using available light but toting along stands and speedlights - just in case.
Now that won't be an issue. I will still tote my extras along but it will only be when I want to play with them and have some artistic fun. Never stop having fun.
Did I mention that I love this camera? Oh, yeah I did.
Thanks Rick! You are the best husband in the world.
