Trying out some logos
Well, I am trying to decide on a logo. The one that I currently use isn't quite working for me anymore.
I know I need to stick with one and stop changing it but I am who I am. I get board and I crave change.
So here are a few I have been tinkering with. They are all very similar. I think I like the first one but I am not 100% sure yet.
So graphic design is not my thing, huh?

I like number three the best...but I'd play with the kerning (inter-letter spacing) and stretch the "photography" out to the same length as your name. I don't have a copy of whatever font you're using, but here's an example of what I mean:

E-mail me if you're using Photoshop and I can show you how to set that spacing. (If you're not using Photoshop, sadly, you're on your own, but search the online help for "kerning" and you can probably find it.)

I really like the second one! The first one is good too, but something about the stroke around the dots is distracting. Maybe if you made them solid dots it would work better. I really like the second one and I dont know if you use watermarks or logos on your photos online but i can totally see that logo on the bottom left hand corner of pics and think it would look great!

I love your photos...
but i have to say your logos do not match your style.
Try using a different font and color on your name.
Something more like the "watermark" you use on your photos.
That being said I think your work is truly inspiring.
I hope to be as creative and hard working someday.

Hey Staley,
Well I like the top logo cuz it is very similar to what I want to do. Someone else on Mom Photographers has that too. It's so cute. I have to agree though with another post - it may not be "you." I too love the logo on your pics. Good luck.
